We’ve added a high resolution LC-MS system to our collection of instrumentation in the Extractables & Leachables laboratory. The system is an Agilent 6550 i-Funnel Q-TOF LC-MS, which will be utilized to analyze for non-volatile organic extractables and leachables. In addition to increasing our capacity in this area, we will be able to utilize the BA Sciences E&L Compound database that we have built on this instrument to aid in the identification of unknown NVOC compounds.
